SDMetricsPF_EA.zip

This archive provides an XMI transformation file for the SDMetrics V2.0 default metamodel for UML1.x and XMI 1.1 files saved by Enterprise Architect 5.

SDMetrics' default XMI transformations expect all model elements in the XMI file to have and XMI ID. Enterprise Architect does not provide XMI IDs for all model elements - this specialized transformation file accounts for this.

For optimal results with SDMetrics 2.0,

• deselect the XMI1.0 and XMI1.2 option (i.e., generate XMI 1.1 files)
• select the "Unisys/Rose format"

To install the new project file, unpack the contents of the zip archive to a convenient place.

To register the file with SDMetrics, select menu "Project->Preferences", go to the "Project File Sets" tab. In the "Default XMI Transformations" box, click the "Add" button. Specify:

XMI Version:	1.1
XMI Exporter:	Enterprise Architect
Exporter Version:	<leave empty>
XMI Transformation File:	location of xmiTransEA1_1.xml
Default meta model:	The meta model for UML1 (meta.xml)
Default metrics definition:	The metrics for the UML1 meta model (metrics.xml)
